EP Review: Swollen Teeth – Swollen Teeth
Mysterious masked metallers Swollen Teeth leave 1,000 bloody mouths in their wake with a jaw-loosening debut...
Ghostemane has resurfaced for his first new song in half a decade, Zero Day, which got its live debut at two murky underground shows in Texas last week.
Ghostemane has made a triumphant return with his first new music in half a decade in the form of the single, Zero Day.
Though he briefly popped up on a song with XCOMM earlier this year, his first taste of new music proper offers a more organic-sounding, metallic take on his trap-metal sound (and there’s a strong twang of a Korn influence in there too).
Its music video, meanwhile, was shot at two surprise shows that took place in Texas last week - one in an abandoned tunnel network in Austin, the other at an underground warehouse in Houston. These were Ghostemane’s first headline shows for five years.
More music is reportedly in the works, and Setlist.fm mentions that new songs with titles such as Alive!, Deus Ex Machina, Miazma and Bucket List were played. In the meantime, check this out:
Ghostemane’s last album, ANTI-ICON, came out in 2020.
