Following the cancellation of 2021's festival, Glastonbury are now officially looking ahead to 2022 with their first headliner announcement: Billie Eilish.

The Pyramid Stage's youngest-ever solo headliner, Billie will play on the Friday night (June 24) of the fest, following her massive set on the Other Stage in 2019.

"We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history," says Emily Eavis. "This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!"

There's no news on other confirmed artists just yet, though according to GlastoFestFeed, Aerosmith are 'very strong rumours' for next year, given that they had confirmed to play in 2020, and have now moved their UK shows back to June and July 2022.

The likes of Noel Gallagher, Elton John and Wolf Alice are all also rumoured to be playing, with the first big Glasto announcement not expected until spring next year.
