Holy Wars have released a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ Hurt

Holy Wars have just shared a special cover of Nine Inch Nails’ Hurt.

The band tackled The Downward Spiral classic live last month at Los Angeles’ Pico Union Project, and after gaining a lot of attention for it on TikTok, they’ve since unveiled a proper studio rendition and accompanying performance video. We won’t spoil it for you, but definitely give the full thing a watch to find out how Holy Wars add their own spin…

The NIN cover arrives following the October release of latest single Metamorphosis. Speaking to Kerrang!, vocalist Kat Leon teased of what else is to come from Holy Wars: “The album’s quite a journey. It has an alternative metal kind of vibe and Metamorphosis is a good tell of vocally what the album’s going to be like, but we’re still going to have fry screams, breakdowns and then there’s some left turns we take. We really wanted to build an experience versus just banger, banger, banger, banger, banger. There’s one song called I’ll Fuck On Your Grave, but it’s beautiful.

“The album’s called Shadow Work/Light Work. It’s coming out next year and we have another single to release before it!”
