Just a few days after wrapping up its 2026 edition, RADAR Festival has confirmed it’s moving to a new venue for next year’s event.

RADAR’s been taking place at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse since 2023, having moved there after spending its first two years in Guildford. Now, they’ve announced that from next year, they’ll be relocating to Magna, a former steelworks turned science centre just outside Sheffield.

“RADAR has grown so much over the last few years, and as an independent festival, we're always looking for partners who believe in what we're building and give us the freedom to keep making RADAR well, RADAR,” the organisers write in a newsletter posted to fans.

“That's exactly what we've found in Magna. Independent promoters, working with an independent venue, building something unique together.

“A huge former steelworks, packed with industrial character, towering spaces, and more room than we've ever had to dream a little bigger. It's a stunning backdrop, and we already have far too many ideas for how we're going to transform it into the unmistakable home of RADAR. Expect all the things you already love, alongside plenty of new surprises.

“What makes RADAR is the community and the people, not the GPS. We can't wait to see all our friends, all our silly additions (there are more of those coming), and the core supportive, inclusive nature of our gathering each year.”
