Slipknot seemingly announce the departure of Sid Wilson but then take down the post...
After weeks of online speculation, Slipknot announced that they have parted ways with DJ Sid Wilson, and then removed the post shortly after.
In a short message shared on the band's social media accounts, Slipknot said, "Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson. We wish him the best with his future endeavours."
The post has since been taken down across Slipknot's channels, but is being shared by fan pages.
No reason was given for the departure in the now-deleted post and at the time of writing there has been no public statement from Sid.
Earlier this week, the former Knot DJ appeared at the inaugural World Scratch Invitational and introduced himself as being from Slipknot.
