Chris Cornell Statue Unveiled In Seattle

The late Soundgarden frontman has been memorialised in his hometown.

The late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has been memorialised by artist Nick Marra with a bronze sculpture. The statue, to be found at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture, depicts Chris holding an electric guitar, reaching for the sky. The piece was commissioned by Chris’ wife Vicky. Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron attended the unveiling ceremony.
