Courtney Love is seemingly teasing a Hole reunion tour with Melissa Auf der Maur.

The singer has taken to Instagram to share a video – soundtracked by the band’s 1998 anthem Malibu – of the bassist with the caption, “So do we tell the kids about the tour?” Commenting underneath, Melissa writes, “It starts with eternal love…”

Replying to a fan asking, “Miss Courtney is this a drill or do I need to get my purse?!??” Courtney also teases her long-awaited second solo album Died Blonde, responding: “Died Blonde 2026 new songs. Not 94.”

Happily, then, it looks like things have really changed since a 2021 interview with Courtney, when she told Vogue, “No, absolutely not,” when asked about the potential for a proper Hole reunion tour.

“You guys have gotta get over it,” she said. “Our old manager Peter Mensch calls once a year to ask about a reunion: ‘Hey, just doing my thing I do every year with you and Jimmy Page [of Led Zeppelin].’ And I’m so honoured to be in that company, but it’s just not gonna happen.”

Of course, both artists have also had their own projects in the works lately too. Courtney’s documentary Antiheroine recently hit Sundance, while Melissa’s new ’90s rock memoir Even The Good Girls Will Cry will arrive on March 19 via Atlantic Books.
