Louder Than Life and Inkcarceration launch special, dual festival ticket, The LoudINK Pass
Because why decide between two of America’s biggest fests when you could do both Louder Than Life and Inkcarceration in 2026?!
With My Chemical Romance’s first live gig of the year kicking off later today, the band have taken to social media to send fans into a frenzy…
My Chemical Romance have just made an out-of-the-blue, very cryptic social media post.
The New Jersey emo heroes are gearing up to kick off their 2026 tour dates with a show at Lima, Peru’s Estadio Nacional tonight (January 25), but before stage time, they’ve taken to Instagram to send fans into a frenzy.
Their official band account has posted a sound-less video that flashes up with the word PHANTOM, while the caption reads “A GAME YOU WILL PLAY”.
As fans are noting, the PHANTOM font in the graphic looks like a completely new MCR aesthetic, however they have used that word before: their first-ever demo EP goes by the name Like Phantoms, Forever, and of course Welcome To The Black Parade features the lyrics, ‘Because one day, I’ll leave you a phantom / To lead you in the summer / To join the black parade.’ As for the “A GAME YOU WILL PLAY” caption, though? We’re stumped! Perhaps the big reveal will happen onstage later today?
In February 2025, guitarist Frank Iero responded, “No, sorry,” when asked in an interview if there was ‘anything to report’ in terms of new MCR music, adding that: “When that stuff – if that stuff were to happen, we will tell you. We will tell you in the way we want to tell you.”
