K!1695 – Chester: A Celebration Of His Life And Art By Linkin Park & Friends

This week's issue of Kerrang! is a special memorial issue celebrating the life of Chester Bennington, after Linkin Park & Friends celebrated his life in a monumental show at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.

We’ve been working in conjunction with the Linkin Park team since the concert was announced to put together a commemorative issue celebrating Chester and the event and it will be out on Wednesday.

The issue contains 12 pages dedicated to Chester and the concert, including an exclusive tribute by Mike Shinoda, interviews with many of the guest stars at Friday’s event, and a full write-up featuring exclusive pictures from the night.

The likes of Oli Sykes, M. Shadows, Jeremy McKinnon, Jonathan Davis, Machine Gun Kelly, Daron Malakian and more share with Kerrang! their own stories about Chester Bennington as well.

26p from each issue sold in the UK and online through goes straight to the One More Light fund, established in Chester’s memory by Music For Relief, the charity he co-founded.

Elsewhere in the issue, we sit down with Walter Schreifels to talk, well, pretty much everything, Knuckle Puck reflect on the album that could have been, and Slipknot's Mick Thomson takes us inside the songs that shaped him. Also, Awsten Knight of Waterparks tells us why the band's new album will be their best yet, we remember fallen hero Martin Eric Ain, and Brian Fallon explains what's behind his deeply personal new record.

There's also reviews from Metallica's huge O2 arena show in London – which breaks the venue's all-time attendance record – while All Time Low scale things down and hit a European sweatbox, and we review the new Converge album!

And for those needing some posters to plaster on their walls, we've got shots of Code Orange, Ville Valo, Tonight Alive, Rise Against, Frank Iero and Movement.

The issue goes on sale on Wednesday, November 1 in shops and through
