All I Want For Christmas Is The Beautiful People is the Marilyn Manson and Mariah Carey mash-up you never knew you needed.
Mariah Carey's 1994 festive banger All I Want For Christmas Is You is pretty much inescapable at this time of the year, and while it's undeniably a catchy hit that even metalheads can appreciate, it's nevertheless lacking in the goth department.
Thankfully, YouTuber Bill McClintock has put this to rights, combining Mariah's Christmas mega-hit with Marilyn Manson's 1996 classic The Beautiful People, taken from his spectacular second album Antichrist Superstar. Somehow, lyrics like, 'There's no time to discriminate / Hate every motherfucker that's in your way' and, 'The worms will live in every host / It's hard to pick which one they hate the most' seem to work bizarrely well over the jingly loveliness of All I Want For Christmas Is You.
While both songs are absolutely colossal in their own right, Mariah's single beats The God Of Fuck in terms of earnings: according to The Economist, it has generated a whopping $60 million for the singer since its release 25 years ago, and Mariah still receives over $500,000 in royalties every single year. This mash-up probably won't change that, but it's still a hell of a listen nonetheless:

Earlier in the year, Marilyn Manson spoke of his work on the follow-up to 2017 studio album Heaven Upside Down, as that record’s arrival date (hopefully) edges closer.
“I’m in a mode in life where I wanted to tell stories with this record, and it’s sort of like a wax museum of my thoughts, a study of the chamber of horrors in my head,” he said. “All the romance and hope you can have in the world, here in the End Times where it can be a different kind of apocalypse for each person listening to the record.
“I tried to paint it with words, and Shooter [Jennings] with sounds, so you can see and hear all of your longing, your passion and despair.
“That’s sort of a dramatic explanation of it! But it is full of drama. I wouldn’t compare it to any of my other records, but you hear a bit of everything. It’s like I’ve focused everything into one spot, finally.”
